1. Business Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Services provided by us, Studio33 Interior Design Services, a sole proprietorship operating in British Columbia, Canada.

(Hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our").

2. Definitions
Same as in your original. Definitions such as “Client,” “Proposal,” “Services,” and “Products” remain unchanged.

3. Formation of the Contract
No changes aside from company name and Canadian context.

4. Interior Design Services
Revisions include:

Mileage is noted in CAD, currently at 90¢ per km (change if needed).

Business hours remain as Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Emphasis that printed materials and site visits are extra.

5. E-Design Services
Kept as-is with minor grammar edits. Clarified that you communicate by email and scheduled 15-minute blocks up to 4 hours total, unless otherwise agreed. Added:
"All digital communication will be conducted via email or pre-scheduled calls only."

6. Products
Changed mentions of currency from £ to CAD and clarified:

Refund, delivery, and risk transfer policies apply to Canadian commerce law.

Added “subject to availability within Canada” for sourcing limitations.

7. Price and Payment
Changes:

Prices are in CAD.

Replace "VAT" with "GST/PST" if applicable in your province.

Payment gateway: examples like PayPal included.

Interest on late payments: 4% over Bank of Canada base rate.

8. Problems with Products
Updated for Canadian law. Timeframes and consumer protections remain the same. Replaced "Trading Standards" with Consumer Protection BC or equivalent in your region.

9. Cooling-Off Period (Consumers in Canada)
No major changes required. Reflects standard 14-day cooling-off period for both physical and digital products.
10. Cancellation After Cooling-Off
Clarified that both consumers and business clients must provide 14 days’ notice, and that cancellation must be in writing.
11. Variations and Amendments
Clarified that written notice is required for any scope changes. Additional charges will be invoiced accordingly.
12. Our Liability
Reiterated that we are not liable for:

Personal taste dissatisfaction.

Delays caused by third-party contractors.

Any breach resulting from incorrect info provided by the client.
13. Intellectual Property Rights
Clarified that:

You retain full rights to all designs and documents until payment is complete.

Drafts cannot be reused without permission.

You may use project images for your portfolio unless the client opts out.
14. Force Majeure
Standard clause included. Covers events such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, and governmental action.
15. Complaints and Feedback
Clients should send all complaints to your contact email. Response guaranteed within 14 days.
16. Data Protection
All personal information is collected and processed in compliance with the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) or other relevant privacy legislation.
17. Other Important Terms

You may assign your obligations to another party; clients may not without your consent.

If part of this agreement is found to be invalid, the rest remains enforceable.

No third party shall benefit from this agreement.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in British Columbia.
